The Business of Quotes and Online Reporting
JumpStart Matrix spend hours on things like personalised Site Audits,Reports and Reviews as well Keyword Research Reports for Content Creation
We deliver a product that you can take to anyone to get the work done (if you don’t want us to do the work)…..preferably the team that did the original site work to get them to fix things that should have been done right the FIRST time!
We look at ALL your marketing and business Goals!
And am I right in assuming that YOU expect to be paid for your hours of work?
Understand that just because it is an online business, that doesn’t mean you don’t have to invest in your website- just as you would expect to with a ‘bricks and mortar’ store.
This scenario for us at Jump Start Matrix goes a little like a Clients From Hell conversation! ( If you don’t know the Clients From Hell site.. Head on over for a rueful laugh!)
Potential Client: “Can you give me a Quote on how much and what to fix on my website?”
Us: “Of course. Our minimum Quote for most sites is $500.00, to cover the cost of our time to prepare a Stand alone Report that will drill down into issues for you”
Potential Client: ” You mean I have to pay you that much for just a quote? Can’t you just have a quick look and give me a ballpark figure?”
Us: ” Not really. We need to look through the whole site, including the ‘backend’ to determine what IS ..or is NOT in place , so we can give you sound recommendations, based on fact.
This takes hours to do generally and you need to pay us for our time, like any other professional service”
Potential Client : ” Well.. I’ve been burned before by you internet people! I don”t think I should have to pay any more money…I already paid the other guys $(FILL IN WITH ZEROS)!”
If this sounds like something you have either said or are thinking when it comes to getting solid advice from experienced Online Marketers.. DON’T.
Understand that just because it is an online business, that doesn’t mean you don’t have to invest in it, just as you would expect to with a ‘bricks and mortar’ store.
