Creating Content for your Site.

A lot of our clients get glazed eyes and immediately start to work on their ‘writer’s block’…as soon as we tell them they need to write content (articles) and a LOT of them!

So, let me give you some of the ‘secondary benefits’ right up front:

1. Build an Authority or Expert profile:

Who doesn’t want to be seen as an Expert in their field and get attention from potential clients for what they offer?
The best way to do this is to create content.Write as many valuable articles as you can, on all manner of topics related to what you do, how you do it and the results people can expect from working with you.
And there IS a reason the phrase “Cashing In with Authority” exists.
People simply trust someone more that seems to be an expert – and so are more willing to give them their money.
BUT… you must do more than claim you are an expert. You must demonstrate.
One of the best ways to do this is with the written word.

2.The ‘Rework’ Principle:

  • Using your written article, read it out loud and record a video to go with the text on your website Post (and eventually..up on your YouTube channel) No excuses! You can do this on your iPhone…
  • Strip out the audio to use as a download on your website ….and to use as a Podcast!

All the time it took you to create a great article, chock full of unique information, is now 3 Products, not just a Blog Post.

3. Defining your USP ( Unique Selling Proposition)

You will find that as you start writing, you get some ‘a-ha’ moments when it comes to HOW you can stand out in your niche, by identifying just what about you is different than everyone else in your marketplace.

Lets face it, as humans, we mistrust some one that tries to be ‘all things to all people’.
Not You.. You are laser focused on the type of content you give your (soon to be) raving fans!
Writing away is helping you find your ‘voice’ to cut through all the white noise out there in cyberspace…

By the way, if you need ANOTHER benefit of rolling up your sleeves and writing…depth & breadth of content is also how Google decides just how much of an Authority you are in your niche market
…AND how often they will show you to people ‘searching’ for your type of product, Service or Offer on their Results Pages…!
